My kids love to make mason jar crafts. These Dollar Tree Light Up Toy Jars are the perfect little nightlight for kids. This post contains affiliate links.

Kids aren’t the only ones who like to make these jars. Tweens and teens and even adults love to make these, especially for their favorite characters.
What supplies do you need to make these Dollar Tree Light Up Jars?
You can find all of these things at the Dollar Tree. You’ll need:
- a plastic mason jar
- a Disney mini figure
- some glue dots
- decorative pebbles
- battery-operated tea light
How do you make these Dollar Tree Light Up Toy Jars?
This craft goes together super fast in just a few minutes and is very easy for kids to do.

First, add a coouple glue dots to the back of the tea light. Then, press it firmly to the center of the lid. Set the lid aside.

Decide what colors of decorative pebbles you want to use. You can mix them together, layer them, or just use one color.

Add about 1-inch layer to the bottom of the jar.
Nestle the mini figure into the decorative pebbles, so that the base of the mini figure is hidden in the pebbles.

Turn on the tea light and close the lid.

Now you have an awesome new nightlight for the bedside table. When not in use, gently pull the battery-operated tea light off the lid and turn it off.
